Sapan has 10+ years of experience in biopharma industry within Quality, Product Quality, Op Ex/Continuous Improvement and Operations. Sapan started his career at AZ and then spent 4 years at MilliporeSigma before returning back to AZ. At MilliporeSigma, he was also involved in setting deviation workflows for testing of Cell & Gene Therapy products. His team currently provides quality oversight to QC Micro and Analytical labs within AZ Clinical Biologics. Sapan had opportunity to set up analytical QA oversight for clinical Cell Therapy facility a AZ and workflows to handle potential OOS during testing of Cell Therapy products. He has participated in many OOS investigations over the years with manufacturing and labs, and has deep interest in helping teams conduct investigations correctly.
